Coconut Oil Pt 4: Soft as a Baby’s Bottom

My skin sucks. Plain and simple. I’ve always had alligator, dry and flaky skin. But I moisturize like it’s my job! And I know dry skin is typically caused by internal factors (your diet), but my skin definitely needs a helping hand beyond eating an avocado everyday. And this stuff works better than Aveeno or any other lotion I’ve tried

So you learned how your mouth, face and hair lovee coconut oil, now sit back and learn how much your skin loves it too!

Your skin is your largest organ, and everything you put on it is directly absorbed into your blood stream= would you ever eat what you’re putting on your body?? All of those nasty toxins and chemicals build up in your system. Save yourself from the detox and just cut down on your exposure 🙂 Did you know toxins live in your fat cells and make them expand? (unwanted weight you can’t run off)

My fav celeb nutritionist, Kimberly Snyder, is spot on about the TRUTH about lotions and coconut oil’s all in one amazing benefits for your skin,

“Commercial moisturizers contain lots of water, which makes you feel like your skin is being moisturized. But as soon as the water dries, your skin becomes dry again. Also, many commercial brands of moisturizers contain petroleum-based ingredients that can suffocate the skin. In contrast, coconut oil provides deep and real moisture. It helps strengthen underlying tissues and helps remove excessive dead cells on the skin’s surface that makes your skin rough and flaky in texture. “

Coco Oil….

  • soothes bug bites
  • speeds healing
  • heals rashes
  • rids of flaking skin
  • softens and shrinks wrinkles
  • protects sun damage with its natural SPF 15
  • keeps tan longer
  • acts as an antioxidant to prevent cellular aging
  • acts like natural deodorant
  • makes you smell yummy!

Here’s how YOU can have beeauutiful healthy glowing young skin…naturally! 🙂

I keep a baby mason jar filled with coconut oil in the bathroom and slather it on when I get out of the shower, when my skins still slightly wet. I like to add essential oils like lavender and orange peel sometimes too!

tip: a little goes a loong way!

in love happiness and health
